Invitation to Rainier Community Cares Open House

Invitation Card

Invitation Card

I know that  you are a very busy person and the last thing you need to do is commit to be a part of anything. That being said, and if at all possible, I would like to invite you to our coalition  meeting  Wednesday  October 14 @5 pm. We meet at the Rainier food bank.  Our coalition meets  once a month on the second Wednesday and is working to help the children in our community make healthy decisions.  It would be great to have you be apart of what’s happening in Rainier.  We will have a short power point presentation that will show who we are and what we do.

Some of our current members are Lt, Paul Counts of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, Randy Schleis -Mayor of Rainier, YMCA – Lacey,  Everett Gage- City Council, Pat Cooley – Valley Heart Assembly of God, Nancy Decker – Rainier Food Bank,  Rainier Lions and representatives from other county and city organizations as well as other concerned citizens.
Below are a just a few of the Projects RCC is involved in:

Movies in the Park
Family Fun Day
Free Summer Lunch Program
Super Hero Fun Run
Safe Streets Rainier

New Project in 2016

Summer Day Camp (2 weeks)
Please consider joining us as you would be another great resource at our meetings and strengthen our coalition in the work we are trying to do in the community.  If nothing else you will receive a better understanding of our efforts in the community.
Thank you for your time.
